Support legislation

Initiatives like the Promoting Human Rights for Palestinian Children Living Under Israeli Military Occupation Act do a lot of wonderful work (H.R.2407). This measure, introduced by Minnesota Democrat Rep. Betty McCollum, forbids the use of US foreign aid monies to support the detention, questioning, and ill-treatment of children in violation of international law. It also prevents monies from being used to promote techniques like as sensory deprivation, solitary incarceration, and torture against minors. It is critical for American citizens to speak out on behalf of Palestinian children, pushing Congress to act against these injustices through phone calls, emails, and lobbying meetings.

Stay informed

Several efforts are aimed at improving the situation for Palestinian children. UNICEF, for example, intends to collaborate closely with partners to offer clean drinking water, solar energy, improved latrines, sanitation services, and access to school WASH facilities to children. Strengthening child safety systems, addressing negative coping strategies, and supporting newborn and postnatal care will all remain top priorities for the organization. The organization will also ensure that children have better access to high-quality education in safe and inclusive environments, and that they are empowered to contribute to the development of their society.

Participate in Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS)

The Palestinian BDS movement is a movement for freedom, justice, and equality that defends the premise that Palestinians have the same rights as everyone else. It supports nonviolent protests against Israel until the country complies with international law, which includes halting brutality against Palestinian children and their detention. Boycotting goods from well-known brands like HP, Puma, and Sabra, all of which are engaged in violations of Palestinian children's rights, is part of BDS. Banks, churches, universities, local governments, and governments are being urged to withdraw help and investments from Israel and all firms that support the state's violation of international law through divestment and sanctions campaigns.

Sponsor a Child

There are several charitable organizations that allow people to sponsor one of the many Palestinian youngsters and invest in their futures. Humanium and SOS Children's Villages are two organizations that aim to provide a safe living environment, education, emotional and mental support, as well as access to healthcare services to children. These groups also combat injustices that affect Palestinian children, such as child labor and marriage.
