WE SHOULD PROTECT THE RIGHT OF THE OPPRESSED CHILDREN TO BE FREE FROM AGONY

Defending the rights of Palestinian children

Every kid should be treated equally in the eyes of the law and international treaties, but this is not always the case for Palestinian children in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Palestinian children as young as 12 are exposed to torture, incarceration, and other forms of ill-treatment when they come into touch with the law.

Every day, the safety of Palestinian children is jeopardized. Hundreds of youngsters have been arrested or had their homes demolished by the Israeli military due to repeated violations of their most fundamental rights.

We aim to safeguard children from violence and abuse by advocating for their rights.

  • Through the revival of child protection networks, safeguard children's right to be free from torture and other types of abuse.

  • Assist civil society and community organizations in preventing and responding to child torture and other types of ill-treatment.

  • Take steps to hold government officials accountable for torture and other types of ill-treatment of minors, as required by international law.

  • Work to aid the healing and resilience of children and teens - as well as their families - who have been subjected to torture and other types of abuse.
